Anyway, Section 3 is great reading. He first gives a clear summary of frequentist vs. Bayesian stats, then goes on to give a little of his philosophy and biography.
The whole document is just a great example of what a stellar career looks like. If he didn't get the raise, I'd like to know who at UC Santa Cruz does get raises!
